the bridal shower

A Hawaiian theme was chosen because that’s where the bride and groom will go for their honeymoon.

Ed has often answered the question, “How did you survive having four daughters?” with the statement, “I traveled a lot.” He earned a lot of points with airlines and hotels, during our girls teenage years, and the last thing he wanted to do was travel via commercial airplane, or stay in a hotel. Instead, he’s used those points and perks to arrange another Hawaiian honeymoon for a bride and groom. Our youngest expects the same, someday. 😀

One bridal shower game required teams, using really flimsy toilet paper, to create a beautiful bride. It was up to the real bride to choose the winner.

And when all the frolic was done, there was a moment to pause before the under 40 crowd left for the bachelorette frivolity. (Which lasted until 3:00am)

My girls. Lyndsay, Michelle, me, Katelyn (the bride), Theresa.

  1. Your girls look lovely (and so do you, of course!) So that’s what goes on at a Bridal Shower, often wondered.
