Esoteric Elements in my life means I PAY ATTENTION to the philosophies, energies, and talents of others, that enrich my days. There is a reason why I feel happier when I add good health and relaxation rituals to my daily routines. Magic, mayhem and natural disasters may make me feel like a pawn to the human experience but it also encourages me to see the best that is.
“Psychic” can be defined as of the mind, Psyche (soul, personality) . From there, when dealing with the mind, labels, road maps, and skills begin… and, misconceptions abound.
ASTROLOGY is full of science, math, and planetary energies. Astrology is reflected in every esoteric discipline. Your natal chart is an individual blueprint of where the stars were at the moment of your birth. Each aspect and planet is a representation of potential talents and challenges on your life journey. Fortunately, each aspect and planet has at least two or more potential energies, and need to be interpreted in relation to all the other energies. It may be a great map but it actually relates to decades of opportunities, choices, and relationships. When you study your natal chart – in relation to your heredity, physiology, environment, birth order, and decade in time – you may soon realize it’s more fun to go with the flow than analyze the stars. However, if you really want to categorize your essence, identity, and emotions…

WWW.ASTRO.COM Here’s one place where you can create a free account and get your Natal Chart. You’ll need your birth date, time of birth, and location of birth on Planet Earth. If you were born on a different planet, the calculations may be off. 😀
Your Natal Chart may confuse you but there’s great tools to begin your journey of finding merit in the stars as it relates to your interests and talents. It could explain why, if you have a Taurus Sun, everyone who meets you thinks you are a Leo. And though you are the model child of common sense and relaxed humor – you may have a Scorpio Moon so enjoy sinister plots and secrets.
PALMISTRY – No links here as the palmist I knew and admired has now retired and is a Visual Artist. However, regardless of the fortune telling tricks, this esoteric discipline is of value for life purpose (karma/dharma) and health issues. It’s like a combination of astrology and reflexology associated with our personal dexterity. This means it’s got more potential than being associated with a pending romance and is probably better reviewed in relation to the chakras.
We had an “ole country doctor” as our family health care provider. He would often check our nails and palms, the interior color of our eyelids, and more. This may be too touchy-feely for current medical practitioners but that’s why we get our massages and pedicures elsewhere.
REIKI and ENERGY FLOW – meditation and training is required. Go for it. Lay on a comfy bed or couch while listening to your favorite music! Tapping can be good too.
CRYSTALS – these are chemical compounds in artistically beautiful formations and are best when cleansed. Setting them outside under a full moon is recommended. Sea Salt baths for you, or your crystals, are a good thing. Enjoy!
NUMBERS – they are “my thing” as they are a universal language and there are only nine. I’ve developed my personal shorthand of messages for every 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, that appear in random combinations. When random numbers and letters catch my attention, like on a car license plate, I often laugh at the message I perceive and it makes me feel good!
MUSIC – too much to say here, but it is a wonderful example of multiple tones and messages all mixed together in a symphony that can touch our emotions. Depending on our preferences in the moment, music can relax and soothe or empower us, and encourage dancing.
TAROT – I recently found Theresa Reed, The Tarot Lady and like what she shares, including what to expect in a tarot reading.
Find an esoteric game that’s fun for you. In my philosophy/belief it’s the delights we need to integrate into our psyche. Our talents and careers are to find and fund those delights and that’s why they matter. Success is a judgment and only has value when we do something with it – and only we can define it.
